Though plastic hangers are cheaper in the stores it is not uncommon to find a pile of wooden hangers at an estate sale, sometimes for as low as a mere 25 cents each. If you see a pile of wooden hangers in good shape scoop them up. You can even personalize them by decorating with a little paint. It’s a great way to spruce up sturdy hangars that may look less than desirable from former use.
